FPG, on behalf of one of our fantastic clients, are recruiting for a Sales Director for Germany and the wider DACH region.

Their platform is a JVM designed for a wide variety of enterprise Java applications and workloads that may require any combination of low latency, high transaction rates, large working memory, improved query performance and/or consistent response times. They also offer a range of certified, freely available open source builds of OpenJDK with a variety of flexible commercial support options, available in configurations for ISVs, enterprises, and on-premise or Cloud deployments, as well as custom and embedded/IoT devices.
This role will be responsible for driving sales for Enterprise applications in all major industry verticals, calling on Enterprise/Global 2000 accounts throughout the DACH region. Key verticals include financial services, banking, or institutional trading, e-commerce, retail, or telecommunications.
10+ years infrastructure software sales or business development experience within financial services, banking, or institutional trading, e-commerce, retail, or telecommunications
Experience selling both entry-level deals ($250K) and larger 7-figure deals
Experience with Open Source and the Java community a plus
Being an overachiever, top of your class, and strong documentation to back it up
Experience working at both small and large companies
